Body Spectra 2012

CityVarsity's BodySpectra 2012 was the hottest event of the year! 

 
 An electrifying spectacular at the 13th annual BodySpectra show
Presented by the very capable - and just a little bit camp - Mark Hoeben
The Motion Picture Make-Up and Production Design students participated in this glitzy evening

 At Trinity Club - 15 Bennett Street, Green Point

 The brief - to create a human canvas using body paint, prosthetics and props

 On the theme of 'Metamorphosis'


So that human bodies were turned into living works of art

47 competing students and their models

 
Amazing and imaginative concepts

Transformation into something rich and strange

A magical and hotly contested event
350 tickets sold in aid of the Amy Biehl Foundation

The final evaluation of the multi-talented Make-up and Design students 

 This year’s funds, raised through ticket sales, donated to the Amy Biehl Foundation, which emphasises the upliftment of children from disadvantaged backgrounds through the arts

 
 Inspiration drawn from a variety of insects, animals and fantasy creatures
